Congratulations to Lytyfy, runner up in the Smart Village Off-grid Energy Impact Competition for India.  They have been listed as one of the 120 Asian social enterprises to watch in 2016 by the DBS Foundation and NUS.

Lytyfy’s unique model combines crowdfunding, microfinance and off-grid energy access. Through an online platform, individuals can lend money to people in rural communities to help finance the purchase of solar panels.

This year’s DBS-NUS Social Venture Challenge Asia saw 1027 entries from over 32 countries. Lytyfy has been short listed as one of the 120 entries picked to proceed to the next round of judging, bringing them closer to being one of the top 12 semifinalists of the region.

Good luck to Lytyfy in the next round!
