According to the Energetic Policy drafted on 2015 by the Government of Chile, the biggest goal is to achieve sustainable, inclusive and competitive energy.

“Energy is much more than a basic supply (input, resource) for the citizens; it’s a strategic factor on Chile’s development. Its generation and use provide an opportunity to improve quality of life and foster economic and social development.”

To help tackle these challenges, the Ministry of Energy are inviting the public to participate in Impacta Energy, a public innovation open challenge that will seek ideas on addressing access, saving and promotion of energy as a source of development in Chile.
